Peter started his career in media at BBDO Dubai and then held various managerial and board roles at Young & Rubicam leading to the setup of MEC across the Gulf. He took specific interest in advancing television audience measurement and was active in industry committees focusing on in introduction of the people meter in Saudi Arabia. In 2013, he co-founded, in partnership with Philipp Vogeler, AJCME, the first and sole provider of systematic media audit intelligence in the region with offices in Dubai, UAE, and offers his intrinsic knowledge of the region to global as well as well as local advertisers. Philipp is an international media specialist having worked with leading advertising agencies and media buying units in the US, Europe and MENA region. Philipp spent the last 25 years in the Middle East in executive and non-executive positions. He participated in setting up OMD across the region and, based in Cairo, UM across North Africa. Philipp introduced media auditing as a discipline to the region in 2008. Five years on, he co-founded, in partnership with Peter Barsoumian, AJCME, the first and sole provider of systematic media audit intelligence in the region with offices in Dubai, UAE.
